Kingston City Park

The Kingston City Park is located at 333 West Race Street on beautiful Watts Bar Lake.  The park has two children’s playgrounds, pickle ball courts, a basketball court, picnic tables, pavilion, rest rooms, boat ramps, docks and a brand new Fitness Court.

Southwest Point Amphitheater

Located at Fort Southwest Point Park on South Kentucky Street, it sits overlooking Watts Bar Lake providing a one-of-a kind lakefront setting for live outdoor concerts, arts performances and other special events.  This state of the art facility will draw visitors from across Tennessee accommodating over 1,000 guests.  The venue includes a covered stage, nearby restrooms and handicap parking.  The amphitheater can be rented for private use for a set fee.

Southwest Point Park Sports Complex

Located at 1221 South Kentucky Street high above the confluence of the Tennessee and Clinch on Highway 58, it sits adjacent to the beautiful and historic Fort Southwest Point.  The sports complex offers a lighted baseball and softball field, concession stands and press boxes, restrooms, pavilion, children’s playground, a 400-meter 8-lane track, multipurpose fields, soccer fields, indoor batting facility and a 18-hole disc golf course.

Kingston community center

Located just off Highway 70 at 201 Patton Ferry Road, it sits across from scenic Watts Bar Lake and City Park.  The building offers a large central meeting room, a kitchen, and a variety of meeting and activity rooms.  The rooms are available to rent for a set fee.  The center is home to senior activities such as daily card playing, weekly dancing, bingo, exercise classes and diet classes.  For information call 865-376-9476.

Outdoor Swimming Pool

Located at the Kingston Community Center at 201 Patton Ferry Road.  The pool is 42 foot by 83 foot and 3 1/2 foot deep to 12 foot deep and includes a 1-meter diving board.  There is a pavilion and grassy area for sun bathing with a concession stand.  Public swim is offered from May to August each year.  City lifeguards are on duty at all hours of operation.  The pool can also be rented for parties, by calling the community center for rates and availability.  The pool is also the home of the Kingston Swim Team.

Lakewood Park

Located at 999 Lakewood Road.  Also known as the Park “Between the Bridges” This park offers a Handicap Accessible Kayak launch, gazebo, picnic area and a fishing peninsula.

Ladd Park

Located at 1470 North Kentucky Street on the Clinch River and the mouth of the Emory River, this park has a large parking lot, pavilion, picnic area, boat ramp and dock.

Downtown Dock

Located on South Kentucky Street behind Bethel Presbyterian Church.  This area offers a dock, benches and a nearby gazebo.

Fort Southwest Point

Located at 1226 South Kentucky Street. Explore the only federal era fort in Tennessee that is reconstructed on its original foundation.  currently, the facility consists of barracks, a blockhouse and over 250 feet of palisade walls.  Enjoy the spectacular view from the reconstructed fort, situated on a high bluff rising above the Clinch and Tennessee Rivers.

Gertrude Porter Park

Located at 726 Greenwood Street, this area has a fenced softball field, children’s playground, pavilion, restrooms, walking trail and regulation size basketball court.

Alton E. Byrd Field

Located at 1151 Sevier Ferry Road.  This beautiful area offers a lighted 190 foot centered baseball field, bleachers, concession stand, restrooms and a press box.  The area sets directly on Watts Bar Lake and is home to the Kingston Girls Softball Association.

58 Landing

Located at 695 South Kentucky Street.  This area offers picnic areas, pavilion, restrooms, boat ramp and is also home to 18 Covered Secured Boat Slips that are available for rent on beautiful Watts Bar Lake.  The Boat Slips are adjacent to the boat ramp and electricity is included in the rental.

Gravel Pit Park

Located at 303 West Race Street.  This area sets on Watts Bar Lake just across from the Community Center.  It offers a pavilion, restrooms, picnic area, benches, fishing pier, boat ramp and dock.

Fort Paws Dog Park

Located at 696 South Kentucky Street.  Fort Paws is a new dog park featuring fire hydrants, lots of room to run, dog water fountains, shade trees, benches and a separate section for small dogs and more.  The parking lot even features a protective coating to keep their feet from suffering burns on the asphalt.

Ladd Landing Pavilion/Picnic Greenway

Located at 1120 Ladd Landing Blvd.  This area offers restrooms and picnic area and connects to a 3.1 mile Greenway suitable for walking, running and bike riding.  It also offers outdoor fitness stations and handicap parking.

Betty Brown Memorial Walking Trail

Located along the Lakefront of Hwy 70 and South Kentucky Street.  Includes over 3 miles of walking and jogging trails.  The trail offers drinking fountains, benches, picnic tables and bathrooms scattered throughout.
