To serve the citizens and businesses of the City of Kingston by protecting life, property, and the environment from the hazards and dangers of fires, medical emergencies, and man-made or natural disasters through prevention, education, and timely incident response.

The City of Kingston Fire Department responds to any medical emergency dispatched by our Roane County E-911 center. Our firefighters hold medical licenses through the State of Tennessee for either Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT). Our firefighters practice medicine under the direction of Roane County Emergency Medical Services (RCEMS). We can provide basic pre-hospital care for illnesses and injuries prior to the arrival of an ambulance. Additionally, KFD can provide medical standby for any event taking place in the City of Kingston. If you would like medical standby for an event, please contact our main station at 865-376-2936.

About the Kingston Fire Department

The Kingston ire Department does more for the community than just put out fires. We provide emergency medical treatment in your home, your vehicle, and even on your boat. The Kingston Fire Department is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We currently support our community with 14 full-time members. Our firefighters work 24-hours on duty and 48-hours off duty.
