Step back in time and experience the magic of Christmas by candlelight at Fort Southwest Point. Tour the grounds and fort after dark, hear stories of the holiday season in the early days of our nation, and enjoy the sights and sounds of a traditional frontier Christmas.
The event is co-sponsored by the Southwest Point Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and The City of Kingston Parks & Recreation Department.
Period refreshments will be provided. Visitors can watch the blacksmith at work, meet reenactors portraying early settlers, and enjoy the warmth of a fire while listening to Christmas stories and learning about the fort and frontier life.
