Join us on Saturday, December 7th from 6pm to 9pm at Southwest Point for the Annual Candlelight Christmas Tour. This event is co-sponsored by the Southwest Point Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department.
During this event, attendees can tour the grounds and fort by candlelight, hear and feel the history of Christmas in the early days of our nation. See the blacksmith at work, meet reenactors portraying our ancestors. Enjoy the warmth of a fire while listening to Christmas stories and learning the history of the Fort and the frontier.
Period refreshments will be provided.
This event will be preceded by the Roane Alliance’s Taste of the Holidays Christmas Market on the Fort Grounds.
