Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include supervising a Tennessee Department of Corrections inmate crew to perform general grounds and building maintenance, operate and maintain equipment, and maintain inventory of tools and supplies. Individual responsibilities also include maintenance and repair of all park & recreation facilities.
- Must be able to uphold any and al rules set forth by TDOT or other correctional facilities in picking up, working, and returning inmates.
- The Inmate Crew Supervisor receives daily direction from the Park & Rec Director and assigns, directs, and supervises the activities of the crew members to ensure policies, procedures, and standards are met.
- Must possess proficient skills in multi-tasking, organizational detail, communication, and be able to follow al safety practices, policies, and procedures. Must have afull range of motion to perform activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, etc.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
