Position Purpose:
Serving under the direction of the Public Works Director, the successful candidate will perform any duty necessary to provide effective maintenance of the City’s streets, rights-of-way, and storm drainage facilities.
Work may include sign repair or replacement, brush trimming, herbicide application and road maintenance and repair.
Must have excellent communication skills, work effectively with the public and other employees in a teamwork environment and must be able to follow all safety practices, policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalency is required
- Work experience related to laborer, road maintenance, construction or construction equipment is desirable
- The applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
