Come one, come all! The City of Kingston is gearing up for its Quasquibicentennial Celebration on October 23rd, and you’re invited! Join us in commemorating 225 years of our city’s rich history featuring a SWP Fort Re-enactment, Old Roane County Courthouse Re-enactment, history presentations and more. A Founder’s Day Dinner will also be held October 25th. School projects include posters, essays and art contests. There will be a “Fling at the Fort” disc golf tournament, Fort Flex & Skills Challenge, Pickleball Tournament, Food Trucks and the presentation of a commemorative Quasquibicentennial Quilt! Whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the festivities. Let’s celebrate together in the heart of Kingston on throughout the month of October!
