The City of Kingston Water Department provides water service to 3600 customers and wastewater collection service to about 2500 customers. The Department operates a 2.0 million gallon per day treatment plant on the Tennessee River, and also obtains water from Swan Pond Spring. The wastewater treatment plant discharges through a submarine outfall line to confluence of the Clinch and Tennessee Rivers.
The system includes several miles of water and sewer lines, several pumping stations and storage tanks. Additional storage and distribution lines have been added in the last few months to accommodate growth in the City and rehabilitation of system components is on-going.

For your convenience, your utility bill may be paid at City Hall, in person at water department or in the after hours drop box (located on the left side of the front at city hall), by mail, at One Bank Kingston Branch only (must have stub), online at www.kingstontn.gov or pay by phone 24/7 at 1-855-760-0922
